Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Found the place via Google search. Good for breakfast, brunch or lunch in Kuantan. There is no pork or lard in the food. Chee cheong fun is nice. The curry is thick and tasty. Yong tau foo is quite nice too. Milo o is very kow, nice. The fish ball noodle is very ching, good for kids. Hopefully we can drop by again to try their curry noodles. Parking was okay during the lunch hour, I think today is a rest day I'm Kuantan."
"Came here for lunch on a Sunday, reached around 11.45am and managed to find parking pretty easily. The place was around 80-90% occupied and service was pretty fast. Couldn't really decide so ordered a dry fishball noodles and added a pair of wantons. Noodles might be a tad oily but I guess that's what makes it fragrant. The wantons are nice but the fishballs were the stars of the dish. Springy and not too fishy, can tell they are probably handmade. The soup included a piece of radish, which was soft and lets you take in the soup at the same time. Iced coffee went well with the meal, especially on a hot sunny morning. Will visit again the next time I'm in Kuantan!"
"Clean, hygiene coffee shop. Nice curry noodle, serve with fish ball, fish skin etc, spiciness 7/10. Manageable. Hot weather outside but no choice, need to try the curry noodle."
"One of very few places that use marbled table and ceramic bowl for noodles and soups. The shop is clean with good ventilation. Always our go to noodle spot in kuantan"
"Chu cheong fun is silky smooth. Prefer the original over the sweet curry version. The sauce mixture they use for the mee kicap has a nice balance. The in-house fishballs are springy, less dense. The curry noodles is the watery type, but heavy on the taste of spices. Topped with fried fish skin which is very uncommon. All the soup bases seem to come with chunks of radish. Kopi is pretty good. The RM0.50 upsize is really worth it. QR ordering system available."
"Pork free place that serves a great serving of curry noodles and chee cheong fun. Curry mee broth is more of the highly spiced one not thick or santan rich but it packes with loads of flavour. Because of this the noodle was lighter to eat. Not to forget their signature crispy fush skin on top. Different presentation and taste compared to the famous ipoh or penang versions. Dont compare and find it shine in its own way. The chee cheong fun is smooth and they flavoured it well. The original was good. I was not so much of a fan of the mixed gravy cause it made it taste sweet. The yong taufu is ok. Oh and their dry noodles is good too. This is quite rare, so give it a go."
"I drop by here often when I reach Kuantan. Nice food and reasonable price. Got spicy and non spicy versions. Pork free."
"A coffee shop that’s opened for breakfast during Ramadan, hurrah! The homemade fish balls are super soft. I really like how’s there’s glass noodles option for those on gluten free diet. You can customise how much noodles, whether to add more or omit oil, spring onions, shallots etc. All done using the Beepit app. The fishball noodle soup is really “clean” since I don’t taste any excess salt or msg. That goes the same for the kicap noodles with curry. The seasoning is right for me but may not suit to everyone’s taste especially if you prefer strong flavours. The tofu is really soft too. I will definitely comeback here again for a taste of home cook healthy meals."
